My portfolio section showcase just one, somewhat dated case study. As a builder and a maker, I've always let my skills, experience, and the tangible outcomes of my work speak for themselves. I find it intriguing that the emphasis is often placed on portfolio case studies, more prevalent here than in other countries. This focus seems to stem from a perceived lack of trust, a sentiment I've encountered in recruitment processes, yet one that contrasts sharply with the positive feedback I've consistently received from my managers. They value my work ethic, passion, skills, and, importantly, my ability to communicate effectively within a team.

It's high time we change the narrative and evaluation criteria for designers. Instead of solely judging based on the aesthetics or case studies of portfolio websites, which, let's face it, can be easily enhanced with AI today, why not delve into the real impact of designers work? The results of what we create, user satisfaction, and the influence on sales are far more indicative of our contribution and success. Let's focus on those achievements. Cheers.
